December, Christmas, Rainy and Her snow boots

So it didn't seem like a lot had happened lately, but looking at my pictures, there has. And of course in the world of Miss Rainy, there always is a lot going on. We went down to Salt Lake at the beginning of December for Aunt Lexie's Baptism and we went to Temple Square and saw the beautiful lights. Rainy couldn't quite figure out why if she looked in one direction at Temple square how she could see Baby Jesus laying in a manger and if she looked the other she could see the big Statue of Christ. Big Jesus one way, little Jesus the other...weird.Needless to say it was quite funny.

For Christmas we went to Washington to visit Josh's family. This was a first and although it was weird for me to be away from my family and our traditions. We enjoyed ourselves. We went to the Seattle Aquarium and now everytime Rainy sees an animal in water, it is an "Otter."Apparently they left an impact on her little mind.

So the summer of 2005 Josh and I were out Garage Sale shopping and we happened upon a pair of little snow boots. They very much reminded us of Napoleon Dynamite's moon boots. They were black and blue and so ugly and small that they were cute. Anyways, because they were in a free bin we took them and for some reason I kept them for three years. Well the other day after it had snowed for three days straight I found these little boots and put them on Rainy. And now much to my dismay they have become a staple in her wardrobe. She thinks they look good with everything.
