My first trip to a Bar

Yep you read right, I went to a bar for the first time on Saturday night. Let me tell you it was quite the experience! So let me explain... Josh has been playing drums in a band on the weekends, it has helped make a little extra money for us, but also has been fun for him to be playing in a band again. So on Saturday night he played at the Rodeway Inn. So for all of you who are familiar with the Rodeway Inn probably can imagine what the bar inside looks like..It was this little room that time forgot, totally retro. And packed with a bunch of lets say characters. My mom and I decided to go over and listen to Josh play and enjoy a little people watching-our favorite sport, after we put the kids to bed. Grandpa got to stay home with them. So my first experience at a bar was with my Mom, pretty cool huh. Her and I laughed about that! We were feeling kinda weird showing our ID's together and then felt really weird when a Guy there told me that until Josh introduced me as his wife he had thought my mom and I were "Partners!" AAAh! My mom and I never thought that would ever happen, it was so awkward. We actually had a lot of fun together watching the people there and of course listening to Josh play. He did awesome and his band did great too!In all five years of being together I have never heard him play the drums or in a band at all. So it was a treat. I sure love him! And he is so darn cute playing his drums! :) He is so talented and I am so glad because of him our kids will have the chance to be musical. It was a great night! The only downside was coming home smelling like I had rolled in an ash tray! By the way, Thanks Mom for going with me!I am glad I got to experience that with you!
