I thought I would share some pictures of Rainy's pig she made on our Mommy-daughter date. It turned out cute, despite the completely black side.
The Ward Camp-Out
We went to our ward camp-out this weekend and let me tell you trying to get out of town was difficult, it seemed like everything was going wrong. You'll have to ask me for details, because it is just too long of a story, even for a blog. By the time we got up there, dinner was over and we only had a little while it seemed before bed. So the next day on the way home we were glad to find some of our friends had stopped to fish, it was fun for me to have people to visit with, Rainy to play with, and for Josh to fish with. Josh finally caught some fish, although he had to throw them back. He has been trying to catch something all summer. So our trip ended up being pretty fun and worth all the effort. Although a trip away never seems long enough.
Canyon County Fair
After we got home from camping and had a shower and a nap we headed to the fair.Rainy enjoyed just looking at the rides but we did coax her into the Fun House and on the Carousel. We got some cotton candy and of course enjoyed some good 'ol people watching. It was a good weekend.

I love that bank. Quite colorful. Next year you are coming along on the cheap rides day. $5 wristband for kids 10 and under from 2pm-5pm. So worth it. Gunnar loved it!
