The BEST grocery shopping trip ever!

So I have to write this down before this feeling of bliss leaves me.Since I plan on making a book out of my blog someday, I have decided I need to write down more regular day things, that way I can use the book I make as my personal history. So on to my great shopping experience. I went to pick up Rainy at preschool at 11:30 and then we headed to Walmart for groceries.I never have good experiences at Walmart, but sometimes I would rather go there because it beats driving to Nampa to Winco, which is where I prefer to shop. Anyways so as we get into Walmart Stellar starts fussing, so I am thinking "Oh great!" I just knew he was going to ball the entire time. But I was wrong. I gave him his binky and he slept the entire time. Rainy I cruised through the store pleasantly chatting, going down my grocery list(that I actually remembered.)She didn't attempt to get out of the cart once and even offered to sit in the back of the cart (which is where I like her to sit)at the very beginning. While we going around one of the aisles I saw a man that looked so much like my Great Grandpa that my eyes welled up with tears instantly and when I smiled at him and he smiled back, he even smiled the same way my Grandpa did. It was so neat I had to call my mom and tell her. (My grandpa died about seven years ago.)Rainy actually told me she had to go to the bathroom with enough time to get her there and someone helped me get my groceries into my cart at the cash register. And when all my things had been rung up, I hadn't spent too much money. It was awesome. When we got out to the car it was nice enough weather I didn't have to rush to get the stuff in the trunk(I hate that.) As Rainy was helping me get the stuff out of the cart she accidently dropped one of her chicken nuggets on the ground that we had got from the deli. We had about 10-15of the local Walmart Parking Lot Seagulls instantly surround us. Rainy was a little nervous at first but she was fine after I threw the chicken nugget at them and they all attacked it. It was pretty funny! We continued to feed them our chicken nuggets until I thought"I wonder if feeding seagulls chicken is cannibalism?"So then I got out some bread from our loaf we had just bought and we fed them that instead. Rainy and I had the greatest time! Stellar was woken up finally by the sound of screaming birds, which was fine, because we were all done. Everything turned out perfectly!

Emily-
I love the simple things about life that we sometimes seem to forget, but these times really do make me happy!

Emily,
you know it is always a good day when we stop and actually feed the seagulls, because our 2 year olds are teaching us a thing or two about life. Enjoy those days, they go by quickly and they are fun! Pam
