With Thanksgiving coming I wanted to make a list of things I am grateful for, so before my week gets away from me I am going to do it. I was searching on Google tonight and came across a woman who had a list of things she was grateful for permanently on her blog.It made me think a little bit. I should probably let everyone know how grateful I am for them more often and I know I need to be thanking my Heavenly Father more often for the tremendous amount of blessings he gives to me each moment of my day. So here is my list:( the items are in no particular order)
1. I am grateful for my friends. I would not be "good" without you. I am so grateful for girls nights, being invited to little get-togethers, chatting and anytime anyone calls or texts to check on me. I have been so blessed to make so many friends in my ward and my husband and I both owe them a huge thank you. You have saved my sanity.
2. I am grateful to my parents for first of all giving me life, but instilling in me great qualities that have helped me to be what I consider to be a good person. I love them both so much. They are some of my greatest friends. They love me no matter what and do whatever they can to help me no matter what. They are the best grandparents as well. They have showed sides of themselves to my children that I had never seen before, it has been neat to see.
3. I am grateful for Rainy. She brightens my days and my moments of frustration.Although a lot of the time she has caused this frustration, being two and all. She is one of greatest loves of my life. I can't believe I was chosen to have such a sweet special spirit in my home. She is so smart, Josh and I are completely amazed by her intelligence everyday as well as anyone who comes in contact with her. She is completely wonderful! She is my little girlfriend.
4. Stellar is the sweetest little baby, so happy to be on this earth. He makes me happy just looking at him. I am grateful for his joyful disposition, and I know it will play a great part in our family, being as the rest of us aren't as naturally happy as him, especially in the morning. He wakes up happy and cooing. I am so grateful to be his mommy and I already feel such a sweet special mother-son bond with him.
5. I am grateful for my Husband. Josh and I have such an interesting relationship. It is nowhere near perfect and we are bickering at each other most of the time. We have gone through very rough patches in our married life. But we always seem to come out alright and I know that we do because we have a deep love each other. We want to succeed together. We want to be together. I am grateful to be his partner. I am grateful for the wonderful daddy he is. I am grateful for how hard he works. He has taught me so much in the last four years. Although we miscommunicate a lot of the time I am grateful for someone who "gets" me. If that makes any sense at all.
6. I am grateful to be a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I could go on for days with reasons why being a member has blessed my life. But probably one of the number one reasons is for the knowledge it has given me that I have a Heavenly Father that knows me individually and loves me unconditionally.
7. I am grateful for my Heavenly Father. See above and See Below- He has given me everything.
8.I am grateful for Jesus Christ. He is my older brother, He loves me and gave his life for me. Enough said.
9. I am grateful for my siblings. They are the greatest Aunt and Uncle anybody could ask for. I love them both. I am grateful to share the same genes with them, it makes me feel good knowing I am not the only one who has some of the traits, habits and such that I do.
10. I am grateful for family, I am sorry to lump all of you together but this is beginning to be a long post. A lot of you are my closest friends. I am grateful that I feel like could turn to anyone of you for help. That is a lot of support. And I felt that, especially when my parents were in Utah, I am grateful for all the extra love during that time.
11. I am grateful for my in-laws, without you I wouldn't have my husband. I am grateful for your love and support in all we do.
12. I am grateful for my health.
13. I am grateful for this blog that has helped me share this list with you.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
