The Inauguration

I wanted to share my feelings about the Inauguration today. I want to be able to look back and remember what I felt on this day in history.I watched the Inauguration today with my children playing around me thinking"What is going to happen?"This is definitely a time of uncertainty and honestly it kind of worries me. I think it is great that the Country can be united in excitement. I think it is really neat that our country was able to vote for a black president. That they were able to see past the color of his skin and see President Obama's character and his desire for change. It is amazing that the things that Dr. Martin Luther King wanted for his children as well as for his race, he got. I am proud of our country for that. I really think Obama is a great guy, but I do not like Joe Biden. I think he appears very fake and it makes me nervous that there is a great chance of something happening to this President because of the fact that he is a black president and I wouldn't want Joe Biden to be the next president. I hope that with all this hype and excitement that there are results. I hope President Obama can Change things, I hope he can find a way to get us out of this economic slump. But, I like President Bush, I think he is a good and honorable man.I think it is sad that the title of President hasn't meant much to people the last few years. President Bush was dealt a rough hand. I think he was blamed for a lot of things that weren't directly caused by or in result of his choices.He had to deal with things most Presidents never did. I will agree some things he did were not the best choice, but I can't say I would have have made the "right" choices under the pressure he was. I feel bad that he left the way he did, without the honor and respect of most. I am glad he was the president, I honor and respect him and I think it will be interesting to see how things go these next few years... here we go.....
